Trucking runs on relationships, and so does federal, state, and local politics — the races that decide who’s writing the rules you operate under every day. You already have the most valuable assets in this game of influence – honor, integrity, and a message that resonates. But it still takes resources to get that message out of the garages and terminals and into the halls of Montgomery and Washington.
Our industry’s willingness to coalesce behind a common message is what keeps the Alabama Trucking Association’s voice loud in Montgomery. Alabama Trucking has already delivered real wins: a cap on property tax assessments that keeps more money in your pocket, passage of the Highway Safety and Fairness Act of 2026, expanded truck parking, and infrastructure improvements statewide.
