AIMOR @ Banff – Workshop on AI/ML in Operations Management Research

Following the success of our inaugural workshop, we are delighted to invite you to the second workshop on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Operations Management Research (AIMOR) at the heart of the beautiful Canadian Rocky Mountains.

This two-day workshop is designed to explore and advance the integration of AI/ML with Operations Management research.

The event is scheduled to take place on May 14–15, 2026, at the Royal Canadian Lodge in Banff, Alberta.

AIMOR provides an intimate setting to exchange cutting-edge ideas with world-class researchers and present your research.

This year we will have two distinguished speakers who are leading experts in the field:
Prof. Amy Ward from the University of Chicago
Prof. Warren Powell from Princeton University

They will deliver tutorials on selected topics in this exciting field and present an in-depth discussion on how to incorporate AI/ML in OM research, while being impactful and successful in generating top-tier journal publications.

Registration fees include three nights of accommodation, breakfast, lunch, and refreshments on both workshop days, and a conference dinner.

Submission Details: We invite you to submit an abstract or express your interest in participating by Saturday, January 31, 2026.

The first-round decisions will be communicated by Friday, February 6, 2026.

The registration deadline is February 23, 2026.
