Live Room - Supply Chain Risk in 2026

Global supply chains are increasingly shaped by forces that sit far beyond operational control. Geopolitics, economic volatility, labor dynamics, technology disruption, regulation, and climate events are continuously reshaping risk. This GSCC Live Room will explore how these macro forces are already affecting operational decisions.

Rather than covering every dimension in theory, participants are invited to bring the macro risk they currently see having the biggest impact on their supply chain.

Examples may include:
– Political tensions and trade restrictions
– Economic volatility and demand swings
– Workforce and demographic shifts
– Technology disruption and cybersecurity
– Regulation and compliance pressure
– Climate events and environmental disruption

Given the short and interactive format, the discussion will focus on the most relevant risks raised by participants.

What is a GSCC Live Room
Live Rooms are small, curated discussions hosted on our global community platform Chain.NET. They are not panels and not presentations. They are designed for practitioners to compare operational reality in real time. The format is conversational, practical, and intentionally limited in size.

How the session works
– Live discussion hosted on Chain.NET
– A limited number of active contributors join the discussion on screen
– A wider audience can follow live and submit written questions via Q&A
– No slides and no presentations
– A recording may be made available after the session for GSCC members

How to be considered as an active contributor
To keep the discussion practical and experience-driven, active contributors are selected in advance. If you would like to participate in the discussion:
1. Register for the event on Chain.NET
2. Ensure your profile is complete with role, company, and profile photo
3. Post a short comment below answering this question: Which macro risk is currently having the biggest impact on your supply chain decisions, and how are you adapting?

We will select contributors based on the clarity and practical value of their input.
