Call for Papers: Supply Chain Management (SCM) SIG 2026 SIG Day
The Supply Chain Management (SCM) Special Interest Group (SIG) of the Manufacturing and Service Operations Management (MSOM) Society will hold its annual conference (“SCM SIG Day”) on July 12, 2026, preceding the MSOM 2026 conference (July 13-14).
We are seeking high-quality papers to be presented at the meeting. These papers can be analytical, empirical, theoretical, methodological, or applied, and may address any topic within the broad range of topics covered by supply chain management.
Important Dates:
Manuscript Central Submission Opens: January 9, 2026
Submission Deadline: January 30, 2026
Notification of Acceptance: May 8, 2026
Submission Guidelines and Review Process:
Submission portal: Please submit your paper via the manuscript central submission site.
SIG and MSOM main conference: SIG authors who want their papers to be considered for the MSOM main conference presentation (in case of rejection by the SIG) should also submit an extended abstract to the MSOM main conference separately.
Formatting requirements: Each paper should comply with MSOM journal’s formatting standards.
Number of submissions: The same work can be presented only once during the entire conference period. Each attendee is limited to one submission for the MSOM conference, one submission for each SIG Meeting, and two presentations during the entire conference period.
MSOM Journal and SIG Dual Purpose Submission:
Authors can choose from two distinct submission options for SIGs.
Option 1: Single Purpose-SIG-Day presentation
Option 2: Dual Purposes-(1) SIG-Day presentation, (2) 1st round review (1RR) by MSOM Journal
